Sausage Stew
This simple and hearty sausage stew is one of those comforting everyday dishes that come together from what you already have at home. It’s perfect for a chilly evening when you want something warm, flavorful, and easy to make — a true taste of easy comfort food.
🌿 Ingredients
3 potatoes
A piece of sausage (any kind you like — traditional, smoked, or even chicken sausage)
1 red onion
Some corn
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp tomato purée
2 tbsp ketchup
200 ml cream
100 ml milk
Paprika powder
A pinch of cayenne pepper
Dried basil
Salt and white pepper
🍲 How to make it
Prepare the potatoes.
Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them until almost tender, then drain and set aside.Fry the sausage and onion.
Slice the sausage and red onion, and fry them together in a pan until the sausage starts to brown. Season with a little salt and white pepper.Add flavor.
Stir in the ketchup and tomato purée. Then add the cream, milk, corn, Parmesan cheese, paprika, cayenne pepper, and basil. Let everything simmer gently for a few minutes so the flavors blend together.Combine.
Add the cooked potatoes to the pan and stir gently. Simmer for another couple of minutes until everything is warm and coated in the creamy sauce.
